About Gateway Polytechnic Saapade (GAPOSA)
Gateway ICT Polytechnic Saapade also known as GAPOSA is a state government owned tertiary institution established in 2006.
Located in the Remo axis of Ogun State, GAPOSA was founded to increase access to quality technical education, especially in science, engineering, and management fields.
The Polytechnic has over the years been rewarded for her intellectual prowess, the recent being: – The Best Instructor Award from CISCO in 2008 and Best Success Story Award from CISCO in 2009.
The Polytechnic has two faculties namely, the faculty of the School of Science and Technology and the faculty of the School of Management and Liberal Studies.
These faculties comprise disciplines that are vital for the growth of the Nigerian economy and in the dispensation of modern technology.
GAPOSA has a student population in its JSS of around 1507 and the strength of the staff academicians is 129. They provide the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) and therefore, a learner may opt to join the job market after acquiring their ND or proceed with HND.

Entry Requirements for ND Programs
To gain admission into any of the ND programs at GAPOSA, applicants must meet the following general entry requirements:
- SSCE with at least 5 credits including English Language and Mathematics obtained in not more than 2 sittings.
- 3 other relevant subjects to the applicant’s chosen course of study as stated in the JAMB brochure.

Entry Requirements for HND Programs
To gain admission into the HND programs at GAPOSA, applicants must meet the following:
- Meet the SSCE/JAMB entry requirements for the ND program.
- Possess a relevant ND with at least Lower Credit.
- At least 1 year post-ND industrial experience.
